Struggling to use anki for massive medical exam prep

I'm prepping for a 100% multiple-choice medical school exam (not the MCAT). I have 78 subjects, each 30–80 pages. My memory isn't great, so I tried Anki flashcards but forget after just a couple repetitions. The pile keeps growing, and some days it feels impossible, I am thinking about ditching Anki and studying normally, I need some advice

Oh no, that sounds baaad. Maybe mix it up? Like use Anki but don't rely on it alone. Add in some active recall and practice questions too. For me, mixing methods work a lot better than just plain reading. Good luck!

Yeah, mixing things can help out a lot and there's one thing I'd like to add. Our brains are not usb drives, so don't pressure yourself too much about forgetting things. There's no way we can remember everything.
