Prepping for a medical school exam thats entirely multiple choice with around 80 subjects to cover, each ranging from 50 to 100 pages. Its a LOT for sure, and since my memory isn't that good at all, I started using Anki to help. But after just a couple of reps, I find myself forgetting everything ughh, and the number of flashcards piles up too fast, making it overwhelming. Sometimes it just feels like impossible to keep up, and I'm tempted to go back to traditional studying. Begging for advice here, thanks!

Well its a great tool, but it'll chew you up if you don't know how to maximise it, try to keep your cards dead simple (one fact, one card), and suspend anything that is not going to give high yield

Absolutely! Anki can be really effective if you handle it properly. But it can quickly become overwhelming if you try to add too much or focus on less important things. Finding that balance is key. Have you considered using any other tools along with it?
