Looking for solid research passage practice outside AAMC

I'm gearing up for another exam attempt and while i'll definitely circle back to the AAMC materials, i dont want to burn through them too early. For now, i'd like to build up with third party practice, especially for research style bio passages.
I already know the big names in the prep space, but what i'm really after is feedback from people who've actually tried them, which resources felt closest to the real thing and were worth the time?

Uhmm... @H0ya8 I've used Examkrackers and Next Step for research passages, and they feel pretty close to AAMC in terms of style. Rotate between them to avoid getting too predictable with one source.

I think the consensus here has been UWorld for B/B, not just for the passages but because the explanations are gold! They break down the reasoning behind every answer choice, so you're not just getting the question right, you're learning the underlying concepts and why other options are wrong. A lot of people I know find that the research passages, especially the ones with complex figures, are very representative of the AAMC style.

Blueprint is another good one, especially for their full-lengths, as their science sections tend to be challenging in a good way, so that helps build endurance. Just keep in mind that with any third-party resource, the logic might feel a little different than AAMC, but the key is to use them to strengthen your content and interpretation skills, not to predict your score!

Thanks. When you say "rotate between them," do you mean alternating passages daily or doing a set number from each in one study session? Also, did you notice any major differences in difficulty or timing compared to the actual AAMC passages?
