Need help raising my CARS score

I'm seriously rethinking my MCAT approach after a rough practice test.. I really messed up my first attempt by taking it right after the holidays, and now I'm trying to get on track for a retake. My last practice full-length was a 504 (127/122/128/127), and I'm really struggling with my CARS score. It's been hovering around a 122 on third-party exams and I need to get it up to be competitive.

What are the best strategies for improving CARS? I've been doing passages but my score isn't budging. I could really use some help.. Any advice on how to raise this section is greatly appreciated.

I think it's important to concentrate on the basics of reading comprehension instead of merely increasing the number of passages you go through. Make an effort to recognize the main ideas, the author's tone, and how the passage is organized. For some focused improvement tactics, check out daily passages from Jack Westin and UWorld CARS
